Film, TV, Radio and Industrials booked under SAG-AFTRA jurisdiction must be in accordance with their rules and regulations, and rates are determined by their contracts.
Non-union actors and models are available for non-union projects.
Print advertising is not governed by any union.
Rates vary by performance, category and media usage. Fees are quoted on a per project basis.

Models are available for hourly, half day, or full day bookings. A minimum booking is one hour with additional half hour increments. Fifteen minutes or forty-five minutes past the hour is considered to be an additional half hour.
A day rate must be specified in advance and is considered 8 consecutive hours, including lunch. Day rates cannot be changed to an hourly rate during the booking, even if the model is released before 8 hours. Time and a half will be charged after 12 hours. Saturday and Sunday bookings must be negotiated through the Wehmann Agency.
Intimates and Swimwear: Bras and other women's undergarments, and men's underwear will be billed at double rate. The client must specify the exact type of garment at the time of booking. Swimwear and lingerie must be negotiated through the Wehmann Agency.
The hourly session fee includes one year of basic print advertising; direct mail, catalog newspaper, brochure and magazine. Additional premium usage fees are billed on top of the regular hourly rate. The following are examples of premium usage: web, billboard, bus-side/trans-stop, posters, national ads, signage, packaging, P.O.P., national or international advertisements, and buyouts. Still photographs used for broadcast or video usage must be negotiated separately. Premium usage must be stated and agreed upon at the time of booking, and must be listed on the model/photography release form. (See below for terms of release).
Actors may be booked for half-day (4 hours or less) or full day (up to 8 hours) on-camera shoots. Full day commercial shoots are booked at 8 hours per day, plus a one hour lunch. Time and a half is charged for the 9th & 10th hour of shooting, and double time is charged after the 11th hour.

A voice over session is billed by the hour or per script (to be specified at the time of booking). Additional time is billed in 30 minute increments. Additional scripts are billed as a separate session fee. Tag lines are billed per tag. Tag lines are 10 seconds or less, and are recorded separately as the beginning, middle, or end of a spot.

Clients must indicate the role of the performer, length of session, number of scripts, broadcast or non-broadcast use, internet, internal training or marketing to the public, usage duration (6 month, one year or buyout) and geographic location of use (local, regional or national) at the time of booking.
other fees for print and on-camera
The following may require additional fees and should be discussed at the time of booking:
- 2nd call back and/or auditions over 1 hour
- Shoots that begin after 8pm
- Exclusivity or use of a model or actor's real name
- Simultaneous on-set still photography and video/film
Air travel: Additional rates for travel days apply. Transportation, lodging, per diem and expenses are to be paid by the client (unless otherwise negotiated).
Talent driving their own vehicles: If travel is required more than 20 miles outside the center of Minneapolis, $.56 per mile round trip will be added to the final invoice. Travel 60+ miles outside the center of Minneapolis will require an additional fee of $70 per hour of drive time.
Transportation provided by client: Talent traveling 60+ miles outside the center of Minneapolis, in transportation provided by the client, are to be paid $70 per hour for travel time.
Per diem: Per diem for out of town shoots is billed at $65 per day.
Less than 24 hours notice*: Full session fee applied
Between 24-48 hours notice*: 50% of session fee applied
More than 48 hours notice*: No charge
*Notice must be given Monday –Friday, 8:30am-5pm, working business hours.
Weather dependent jobs must be stated at the time of the booking. The type of weather permit must also be specified. There is no charge to postpone a shoot due to weather if the model/actor is notified before leaving for the job AND if the job is re-booked at the time of postponement based on availability of the model/actor. Otherwise, regular cancellation fees apply.
Models will sign release forms on-set with the permission of the Wehmann Agency. Photos are only released to the client for the length of time and usage negotiated prior to the shoot. If the client or use changes, or if images are used beyond the negotiated length of time, the model release must be renegotiated and approved through the Wehmann Agency.
Any release signed without agency permission or consent will be considered void.
Model releases are not valid until the agency has been paid in full.
The following are client responsibilities:
- Full disclosure of any extraordinary conditions or requirements for a specific job.
- Provide agency with complete billing information prior to a booking.
- Any on-set discrepancies should be reported to the Wehmann Agency immediately, and will only be discussed prior to assignment completion.
terms of payment
Invoices are payable upon receipt and should be paid directly to Wehmann Models & Talent, Inc. A 2% finance charge will be applied to invoices not paid within 45 days. The client, advertising agency, or any parties involved in the booking process are responsible for full payment of fees in a timely manner.
Models and actors booked through Wehmann are not employees of Wehmann Models & Talent, Inc.
